Tonight was the 71st Emmy Awards and as much as I love the ceremony itself, I mainly tune in for the red carpet looks! And one designer who did not disappoint was our love, Christian Siriano. Known for his inclusive designs, he commanded the red carpet with his plus size looks. Finding the right plus size evening gown is often a challenge for the everyday plus size woman. But what happens when you are a plus size celebrity, wanting to wow the crowd for one of TVs hottest red carpet?

“This Is Us” star Chrissy Metz turned heads tonight with this dress! Talk about a SHOWSTOPPER! Something I love about Siriano’s work is he brings personality to every piece he creates.

Not only did Siriano dress some fabulous women, but he also had my #WCE Dascha Polanco out here breaking hearts in her gown. A simple white form-fitting gown, yet playful with the pink sleeves. Isn’t she lovely?
Niecy Nash in a Pink Sapphire Sequin Cape Gown and Turban.
“Claws” actress Niecy Nash gave us all the DRAMA we needed in this shimmery pink gown! This dress accentuated all of her curves and came with a headpiece to match.
We definitely loved that Christian Siriano showed up and showed out tonight with his pieces! These women gave us everything we needed and more when it came to fashion on the red carpet. In addition to these ladies, Siriano dressed Padma Lakshmi, Gail Simmons, and Patricia Clarkson.

Oh my days. I may never live long enough to see anything more beautiful than Niecy Nash in that pink sequinned gown. Dear Lord, if I’m really really good, please can I grow up to look like her? ( Unlikely, I’m a 48 yr old white woman! But I have faith!)
