West Coast Sweet meets East Coast Chic with Melissa Masse
“When my friends complained that they couldn’t find anything in the stores that they liked, or more importantly, anything that fit them properly, I realized that they couldn’t be the only customers who felt that way,” explains Melissa, and she was right. (While not shown on Plus Models, she DOES extend her sizes!)
Imagine our utter surprise and delight when searching to find Melissa Masse, that she delivers her fashionable frocks up to a 4X!
Dispelling the myth that custom clothing is the impractical and exclusive domain of the rich and famous, Melissa Masse has created a line that you can buy straight from the rack.
Even better? You can have it altered to you OR have it custom designed to YOUR specifications!

Marea I have to disagree, I love when you pay tribute to the true designers of Plus Size on your blog. The designer clothes are very well made but these styles are not for the plus size woman. These designs arn’t even on plus size mannequins. Clearly she probably goes up to a size 10 but if she doesn’t have your size, sure you can call in your measurements and they will make it…TCome on that sounds like Mommy and Daddy are backing the mostly straight size designer and as a back up her friends opened her eyes and she realizes that yes there is a market and there is…But come on, lets feature some plus size clothes for the plus size fashionista. The dresses are cute but not for plus size women. The patchwork dress is not good for any curvy woman, it will look like a walking dazzling jig saw puzzle and you have to watch the all over pattern in the print and the last dress is so very cute but let me see it on a real LIVE FIT MODEL, style is cute but appropriate if it is on a real body not a size 8 dress form. Also this reminds me of that show Housewives of Atlanta who comes from money from her football player turned designer but her collection looks terrible. It’s not Plus size and Thank God, she couldn’t even get the straight sizes right. My point is just because you havethe financing, do a bit more research not because you have plus size friends.
Hi Kristen! Thank yo ufor sharing your thoughts. I think I did not clarify… While she carries and makes selected items in plus size (See Neimans Marcus)should you want something for yourself, she makes it.
She is not a person who had pockets lined by mommy and daddy. She has been a designer for Donna Karan and many others, she had been trained and has been doing her desings for a while… I guess I need to clarify…
