The Plus Bus was created in 2015 by Jen Wilder & Marcy Guevara-Prete after they found themselves drowning in clothes. The two fast-friends hit it off and their first event was a success leaving them with an idea and way more clothes than they started with. Realizing the opportunity that was before them, the two set out to hit the streets of LA with their bounty and create space for plus size people who wanted to be fabulous. Style had no boundaries for the entrepreneurs who quickly built a following and soon found a brick and mortar. In 2016, The Plus Bus BOUTIQUE was born and the fatties flocked to it. Jen & Marcy continued their efforts to bring the best clothing on the market to the masses. As a fashion designer and a style expert, they new how to take used clothes and style them to look amazing, plus it was sustainable which was quickly becoming trendy too. Five years later the ladies have a staff of almost 10, a boutique in the trendy urban retail district of Highland Park and a following of buxom babes that hang on their every post, tweet and word. They’re breaking the rules and making a point to live their lives FAT and FREE.
